Sanitary pressure sensor

SS400-1 Series are fully sealed to withstand external high pressure washdowns. These units are packaged in rugged welded stainless steel housings and are exceptionally insensitive to vibration, shock and environmental extremes. A small size and tri-clover sanitary pressure ftting allow direct mounting in most CIP and SIP installations.
 
The sensor is mounted in a 316L stainless steel package with a small volume of oil between the diaphragm and sensor. The pressure housing uses the oil to transmit the pressure from the diaphragm to the sensor. High measurement accuracy is provided through extensive sensor characterization.
 
These pressure transmitters are in use world-wide in a variety of different applications. Main fields of application are: food, dairy, beverage and pharmaceutical processing, liquid level control, and sanitary pipelines.
