Piezoresistive Capsule

SS109 Series cover a range of pressures from 200kPa to 100MPa, have a diameter of only 15mm, these transducers are made of a high sensitivity silicon chip . This chip is protected by a stainless steel body and a concentric corrugated membrane from environmental influences .

The housing is filled with silicone oil so as to ensure perfect transfer of the pressure from the diaphragm to the sensor. All metal parts in contact with the fluid are made of stainless steel 316L. The sealing of the housing is completely sealed vacuum.
